“Slate Island” is a 24x36” original oil painting on 1.5” luxuriously deep canvas. The sides have been painted, and it includes hardware already installed—all you need to do is find the perfect place to hang it.
At the edge of the Atlantic, seaweed hangs off water-darkened rocks. From here, past the little village, you can see on to the next island. Stopping for a rest, you take your shoes off to feel the cold sand under your feet, marveling in the peace and solitude of the moment.
